For co-parents, housemates and couples
Share the costs. Not the arguments.
Whether you co-parent, share a flat or live together, halvr turns your bank statements into one overview everyone can check. Every expense is split your way, settled each month, and kept on a record nobody can quietly change.
Free to start. Statement import and more from €4.99 a month per halvr, with a 14-day free trial.

Made for everyone who shares costs
Co-parents
School fees, clubs, clothes and the dentist, split the way you agreed. A record you can both trust, and one a mediator can read.
Students and housemates
Rent, energy, internet and the shared groceries. Upload a statement, tick what is shared, and everyone sees who owes what.
Couples
Keep your own accounts and still share the household fairly, half and half or in proportion to income.
Less admin. Fewer arguments.
One shared truth
Everyone sees the same overview, with who added each expense and when. No more spreadsheets or sums in the group chat.
Questions, not conflicts
Unsure about a charge? Ask about it on the expense itself. Whoever added it can explain it, adjust it or take it off.
A record that holds up
Every change lands in a tamper-evident audit log, which prints as a report when you need to show it to someone.
From bank statement to settled, in four steps
- 01
Upload your statement
Export a statement from your bank as a CSV file and drop it in. Any bank works: the first time, you show halvr which column holds the date, the description and the amount.
- 02
Tick what you share
Halvr recognises the charges you share every month, so most months it takes a few taps.
- 03
Add the rest by hand
Groceries paid in cash, a school trip, a new sofa: add anything that is not on a statement, once or on repeat.
- 04
Settle easily
At the end of the period you see one amount and who pays whom. Mark it paid, or keep it as a budget for next month.
Your statement is never stored. Halvr reads the file, keeps only the transactions you mark as shared, and discards the rest, including your account number and balance. How we handle statements
Built for how people really share costs
Your split, not ours
Fifty-fifty, sixty-forty or whatever ratio you agreed.
Recurring costs on autopilot
Rent, energy, school fees, insurance and subscriptions post themselves.
Monthly or weekly settling
Pick a settle day. Everyone gets a reminder when it comes round.
Keep it as budget
Not settling this month? Roll the balance on, and see exactly who it is held for.
Notifications that matter
A push or an email when someone adds or questions an expense.
Your statements, your Drive
Want to keep the file? It can go to your own Google Drive, never to us.
Room for more people
Three housemates, a new partner or a grandparent who chips in. Or start a second halvr.
In your language
English, Dutch, German and Spanish. Euro, pound, franc and dollar.
Simple pricing
One person pays, everyone shares.
One subscription per halvr, not per person
A halvr is the shared space you and the people you split costs with use together. Whoever creates it holds the subscription; everyone they invite gets every paid feature at no cost. Two co-parents or four housemates: still €4.99 a month in total.

Questions
Does everyone need to pay?
No. One subscription covers everyone in the halvr: whoever owns it pays, and everyone else joins for free.
Does halvr connect to my bank?
No. You upload a statement you exported yourself. Halvr never sees your bank login and cannot move money.
Which banks work?
Any bank that lets you download your transactions as a CSV file, which is nearly all of them. Setting up a new one takes a minute, and once anyone has done it, it works automatically for everyone with that bank.
How do I add a bank halvr does not know yet?
Upload its CSV as usual and halvr opens a short setup screen. Name the bank, then choose for each column what it holds: the date, the description and the amount (or separate columns for money out and money in). A preview shows the first transactions so you can check them, and you confirm. Halvr remembers the layout, not your data, so next time, and for everyone else with that bank, it is read automatically.
Who can see our data?
Only the people in your halvr. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Can I show it to a mediator or lawyer?
Yes. The audit log lists every change, who made it and when, and prints as a report.
Can I cancel?
Any time. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you paid for, then the halvr moves to the free plan with all its history intact.
